Clips from Season V

LFOD Radio exists to provide a platform for independent voices in New England & beyond.

In addition to spinning records, we sit down for in-depth interviews with artists which are then uploaded on Apple, Spotify, Google PlayStitcher, etc…

We are focused on building a community amongst our collaborators, so you will often see artists return for cypherslive shows, and more. We encourage them to build with each other as well.

Are you an artist? Are your friends? Send FM-ready mp3s to Submissions@LFODRadio.com. We look forward to hearing from you.

LFOD Radio Ep. 154 (Featuring POMAGRANITE)

The New England collective stops through to talk about their “heat check” in LA this year, what their name means, their goals, and more. Our biggest episode yet, we stretched the limits of our studio for sure. They flamed some #ExtraBars real quick as well. Definitely a team to keep an eye (ear?) on.

LFOD Radio Ep. 153 (Featuring DJ WhySham)

The incredibly active DJ WhySham is our guest this week. We talked about DJing for museums, political institutions, Brandie Blaze, community events, and everything in between. She does it all… and somehow finds time to create new spaces for art and healing with Boston Got Next and BBBMA as well. Tap in.

LFOD Radio Ep. 152 (Featuring Kay Wattz)

Kay Wattz slid through LFOD to talk about the dirty money circulating in Boston, her hustle & dedication, and what it means to live authentically. The crew also answered the question “When did you fall in love with hip-hop?”, spurred by her song of the same name. And you know we got some #ExtraBars in here as well.

We also dug up some gems from the Never Going Back days, spoke about his influence on Boston hip-hop, and a whole lot more. Are you ready?

The 2019 Alumni Cypher

We just wrapped up our annual Alumni Cypher Series and it was one of the best yet. The tradition is stronger than ever. For the fifth straight year, we invited all of our past guests back to rhyme live on-air with their fellow MCs. We had a different group each Tuesday in July & they all brought the heat!

None of this would have been possible without participation from the thriving artistic community in New England, which includes not only vocal artists, but the producers, graphic designers, photographers, and filmmakers behind the scenes, as well as the institutions that support them and create spaces and opportunities to thrive.

This year’s cyphers are brought to you by the Table Manners DJs & Wreck Shop Movement. Once again, the Beat Club Podcast has provided us with the beats. Producers, get hip to them if you haven’t.

Last but certainly not least, we’d like to thank all our patrons for rocking with us! If you’d like to learn more about that, head over here. There’s exclusive cypher footage and audio…
