Earlier this month, we asked ya’ll who your favorite DJ was and a whole lot of folks said DJ STIX… So being that LFOD is a platform of and for the people, we’re proud to present to you our newest #LFODMix featuring the man himself.
We’re gonna be doing these more and more frequently, so if there’s someone you want to hear either comment below or hit us on Twitter/Instagram.
The Record Co is a Boston-based community space for musicians, featuring four brand new recording studios, 15 rehearsal spaces, and all the bells and whistles you’d expect from such a location.
They were mid-renovation when COVID hit, so they made sure to include a top-notch HVAC system, as well. Each room has it’s own totally independent airflow. We talked more about safety and a LOT more about the music they’re ready to make in today’s interview.
These guys have a great mission, an exciting vision for the future, and they get things done! Definitely tap in when you can.
Long time listeners may recognize the name… Season VI of the LFOD Radio podcast was recorded at their Newbury St. location last year and we spoke at length with Jesse about their Beast compilation when that dropped in 2017.
A new month means another look back at our favorite submissions. These are the tracks that stood out from January. Had a lot of fun putting this mix together. It covers a lot of ground, but flows pretty naturally.
We also had a guest mix from Jeff 2Timez last week with some of his favorite records from Boston right now. No overlap, so if you missed that definitely check it out next!
We’re back next Tuesday at midnight on 91.5FM in Boston & streaming right here.
We’re excited about this one! Sam found these stones in West Texas last year & thought they could make pretty cool pieces… Then we linked up with Stay Stoned Jewelry and that thought was confirmed.
We met Zeke, dropped off the stones, and here we are today with five new pieces of wearable art. All of these pieces are Agate, a mineral that appears in many different shapes and colors. It’s known for rebalancing and harmonizing the body, mind and spirit, as well as enhancing mental function – improving concentration, perception and analytical abilities.
These are one of a kind! Click a photo to be taken to the product page for easy checkout. And don’t hesitate to hit us up with any questions!
What is the #StateOfNEHH? For the past four years, we’ve gathered with artists and industry professionals to discuss the State of New England Hip-Hop. This year we’re back to ask: what does it mean to be a regional artist in 2020? How do you cut through the digital noise to reach your listeners? Our goal, as always, is to pull back the curtain and push the convo.
