The Hip-Hop Transformation is a dope summer program offered by the city of Cambridge that gives students the chance to push their artistry to new levels, while learning what it takes not only to make it as a musician but how to have a positive impact on the world around them. This is their third visit to LFOD Radio, and every year they bring something new to the table. Tune in & learn about the FAM.

On March 25th, we collaborated with 24 of our favorite artists to record 24 songs in 24 hours at The Bridge Sound and Stage.
On 4/6 we’re playing the album front to back for the first time & we want you there to hear it with us. No one except The Arcitype has heard it or will hear it until Thursday night at The Uniun. Tickets are available now.
STL GLD just released an early contender for album of the year with Torch Song, a cathartic expression of the emotions many Americans have felt over the past year. Moe Pope & The Arcitype joined us to talk about what went into making a record like this, how their process has evolved since their debut, and much much more. We even had time to discuss Swizz Beatz vs Just Blaze & the AVN Awards.

Last night we were joined by The Arcitype (who you may remember from past episodes with Esh & STL GLD) & Lightfoot, who just launched The Shift, a new series taking place at Mass Apparel. Every two months a featured producer will take over the store for eight hours & make a beat tape on the spot. When the shift is up, the shift is up & the tape is released immediately. Really cool concept. Next up is Billy Loman.
Listen to Lightfoot talk about The Shift below, as well as a bonus convo with Arcitype about his label, AR Classic, and recording studio, The Bridge, which has become something of a hub for New England Hip-Hop.
