Quarantine Cookbook?

Cooking and eating used to come up so much on the show, that we joked about having a food-based spinoff… Well, maybe now’s a good time to start?

What are you cooking these days? What do you think would spice up people’s stay at home?

Let’s put something together.

LFOD Radio Ep. 154 (Featuring POMAGRANITE)

The New England collective stops through to talk about their “heat check” in LA this year, what their name means, their goals, and more. Our biggest episode yet, we stretched the limits of our studio for sure. They flamed some #ExtraBars real quick as well. Definitely a team to keep an eye (ear?) on.

LFOD Radio Ep. 152 (Featuring Kay Wattz)

Kay Wattz slid through LFOD to talk about the dirty money circulating in Boston, her hustle & dedication, and what it means to live authentically. The crew also answered the question “When did you fall in love with hip-hop?”, spurred by her song of the same name. And you know we got some #ExtraBars in here as well.

Behind the Scenes with Gio Dee

We hit a new milestone, so going forward we’ll be sharing these off-air convos with ya’ll. First up is Gio Dee.

How this works: We record our interviews in 10-12 minute segments. In between, the mics stay on and catch all sorts of chatter. Sometimes it’s related to the interview, sometimes it’s industry chat, and other times it’s A-Ball dreaming of a hair & makeup budget. You never know what you’re gonna get…

We’ll clean it up a bit, select the most entertaining bits and upload that here. It’s almost like you’re in the room with us…

Shoutout Phive 6 for signing up yesterday and kicking this all off.

Talk soon,

Sam

Road Trip 2020

LFOD Radio exists to provide a platform for independent voices in New England & beyond.

In addition to spinning records, we sit down for in-depth interviews with artists which are then uploaded on Apple, Spotify, Google PlayStitcher, etc…

We are focused on building a community amongst our collaborators, so you will often see artists return for cypherslive shows, and more. We encourage them to build with each other as well.

Are you an artist? Are your friends? We want to share your art. Tap in.

LFOD Radio Ep. 142 (Featuring Boston Rise)

Boston Rise is an initiative to lift art, culture, and community in Boston by pairing
working artists with youth creators. Lilly, D’Ana, Clark D, Echezona, JPRiZM, and JUMA came through to talk about their first album, what they learned together, and why they’re so hopeful for the future. Great group, with a very healthy approach to life &
art. We also recapped this weekend’s shows: Thrive-a-Palooza & Smino’s Hoopti Tour.

LFOD Radio Ep. 141 (Featuring Hoop Hop)

Hoop Hop 2019 is coming up on August 17… This is the sixth annual
tournament & founder Bakari JB joined us to let us know about what’s in store. Not only are signups active now, but they just dropped a mixtape as well! We’ll be there this year – will you?
